Your home theater retailer typically will offer several choices. Set up a clear line of sight from speakers to listening seats. If you have hardwood floors, try placing some area rugs directly in front of the speakers. If the setup task becomes overwhelming and nothing seems to be "right," here are some troubleshooting tips.

Running Cabling and Overcoming Challenges
To access digital surround sound, an HDMI or digital optical/coaxial connection is required. The setup procedure is different if you have a video projector instead of a TV. My setup as depicted in this instructable is still working to this day, but leaves more to be desired. My really cheap filters make the image look ever-so-slightly hazy. If you get a set of glass filters, use kimwipes and isopropyl alcohol to clean them, but only when a simple blast of compressed air doesn't do the trick. I ended up ordering their Belden 5000UE 12 AWG speaker cabling of the entire installation. The Belden 5000UE cabling is CL3R rated for in-wall and in-ceiling use.
Unless you rotate your polarizers exactly between the two, you will get either green or magenta color shift. It is possible to use a stack of 3 quarter wave retarder filters to kill most of the polarization, but these may still need a lot of tweaking to eliminate color shift. All you need to do is set up the frame and snap the screen to the frame. The screen materials become tense when you've attached them to the frame by smoothing out any creases or folds on the screen's surface. Which speakers to choose
At this initial point in the setup, I did not put any kind of insulation or other dampening into the ceiling. I will likely do this down the road, but I wanted to try and mimic what may be a typical installation here. I asked about the insulation or dampening to be sure and the Beale street team said it wasn’t a requirement since they already had a closed back. I chose to run multiple pairs of Category 6 data cabling at different points in the home theater area.
Be aware that video cables and audio interconnects are not interchangeable, even though they may look alike. LCD's are not impossible to use, but DLP gives you maximum flexibility. If you are planning on building a 3D home theater and have not yet purchased projectors I would strongly recommend going with DLP and double the brightness of what you would normally buy for a 2D setup.

Dolby True HD is dedicated to providing 7.1 audio format, but can also support 14-channel audio. It is also used when working with high quality video recordings. Linear or Aux is an analog connection, the purpose of which is to transmit only an audio signal. Optical – digital interface, used for high quality sound transmission. The previously mentioned Component RCA connector is an analog connector for video signal only. Even if your receiver has an automatic speaker setup or room correction system, having a sound meter for manual tweaking can't hurt. To complete your home theater setup, place and connect the speakers and subwoofer. It is probably your best best at getting a decent quality set of filters, I wouldn't recommend anything other than glass now, the film and acrylic filters are too easy to scratch.
With fair usage, most people will get a decade of constant usage out of this projector. All four are very comfortable, even if you use them for two hours or longer. They also come with a charging cord, so you can charge them all at once. A carrying case and a soft cloth ensure you can protect the glasses and clean the lenses when due.
Also, make sure that your projectors are matched in every way possible, even down to the date of manufacture, color and especially brightness disparities will be very irritating to the eyes. The active types have batteries and a transmitter that syncs the on-screen display rate with the rapidly moving shutters for each eye. When it comes to sound quality, the performance is average, to put it in the best way. However, you can use it in conjunction with a good sound system. Not sure exactly what you mean, but if you are talking wrap-around or ultra-wide. There are ways to stitch multiple projectors together to increase the image area, there are also special fish-eye and anamorphic lenses you can use. It's hard to find the right mix of hardware and software to make 3D displays work if you only slightly venture away from set-in-stone systems like the older DLP 3D, nvidia or current HDMI frame-packing. The silver screen is a very simple device and will do nothing more than preserve and reflect whatever polarization you throw at.
